@phillryu Yah, no, not really. I think a good “test” will be Xbox Live’s Fall update where Kinect will get a full TV control upgrade.

@phillryu What if you’re lying down while watching TV, or there are a few people watching together? To me, the Siri prefix makes more sense.

@phillryu The problem I see is the vast array of potential living room setups makes “facing the camera” a non-trivial thing to figure out.

@phillryu why have the camera at all? I can see a camera on the TV for FaceTime, but don’t necessarily see the added utility over all voice.

@phillryu Addressing by name is how Xbox Kinect works. All voice commands start with “Xbox”. Why not “Siri, next channel”?
