After thinking I lost one, I went ahead and organized my cookbook collection. I love cookbooks so much more than recipe sites; I still buy then regularly. What are some of your favorites that I should add?

Was looking for short ribs to smoke today, my butcher recommend I try beef back ribs, aka the ribs from boneless ribeye.

OMG don’t sleep on these! They’re amazing, and cheap! Don’t sleep on them! Imagine the best part of a ribeye, but also smoked!

In case you don’t follow me on the 'gram, this has been the summer I learn how to #BBQ. Tonight was a full brisket, pulled pork, and bone-in chicken breast. Don’t know if I’m at Austin standards yet, but I think I could give many places around here a run for their money.

This weekend in #BBQ: pulled pork, brisket, ribs! Ribs were a sauce and rub test, but the pork and brisket were the real stars! I’m getting good at brisket, need to improve my trimming, but three cook was great! Pulled pork was yum, but the star was the “lemonade” vinegar sauce!

Got a new pellet smoker last week. Broke it in with some ribs, chicken, cauliflower, and young onion.

Look what just showed up! Very little in terms of first impressions other than looks good so far, like the controllers feel and looks, but wish the A and B buttons we’re switched. Will try actually playing a game tonight.
