@malchata @keithjgrant Haven’t run across that as a problem yet, sorry. I’ve done chicken breast marinated in lime and it’s been fine, but that’s only like a 45 minute cook. Haven’t done many multi hour cooks yet.

When using data as a key indicator to make decisions, make sure you’re being as objective to reality as possible (especially when comparing things), and not creating lies, damned lies, and statistics to tell a convincing story.

@robwierzbowski Eh, github.com/sindresorhus/macos-trash is used under the hood there for Mac, and it’s probably more robust than my solution.

Instead of rm -rf, I made a little Bash function to move stuff to the trash (OSX)

trash() { output=$(jot -r 1 5 10000) mv $1 ~/.Trash/$1-$output }

Faster than rm (especially for node_modules, for instance) and you can recover from it!
