@mahemoff There is work being done on this from the Chrome OS/Android side: the Digital Goods API. Lets webapps distributed through Play tap into Play’s in-app purchase infrastructure, including subscriptions!

@ericjduran WSL 2 running Debain, running a localhost server. Can’t connect to it from the browser. Lots and lots of open issues about it, keeps being broken and fixed by MS

What’s the point of the Windows Subsystem for Linux if I can’t connect to localhost running inside it from my browser?

@vinc_sylvestre @rachelnabors Finally, IMO, plug-in arch for assets vs declarative pipelines lends itself to too much magic that’s incredibly hard to recover from when something doesn’t work as expected.

@vinc_sylvestre @rachelnabors For me, the blockers were it not integrating well with another few key tools I used, especially CLI output, and plugins behaving drastically different in watch vs build.

@vinc_sylvestre @rachelnabors This is true of not just Snowpack, but many of the new breed of tools: everything wants to be your server and everything works great until you moved slightly to the left of it’s happy path.

@rachelnabors I’ve used it a few times and I’ve got real mixed feelings about it. 3.0 just came out and I haven’t tried that, though. That’s next on my list.
