will mean that below 300px, the column will shrink, saving me from needing a single column MQ to prevent fixed-width overflow. Can optionally be combined w/calc to include padding

Was almost there, but Snowpack’s proxy example fails if Firebase isn’t running before it tries to initialize, but that’s a long-running task so I can’t run it “first”. And it doesn’t properly proxy the special Firebase hosting routes. Just an endless cycle of tooling woes.

I’m in absolute JS dev tooling config hell. Trying to get @eleven_ty, @skypackjs (Snowpack), and @Firebase to all play nice together is so so hard. So much harder than it really needs to be.

@AlwaysWorking @typescript Also wish single file components were a real thing not per-framework and not web components (they aren’t) and that we could build shared tooling off of shared ASTs instead of each tool building their own and then nothing being interpretable. Those are different problems tho

@AlwaysWorking @typescript Really don’t like how TS+ESLint+Prettier play together, and am generally exhausted trying to get a good build pipeline made that doesn’t assume framework/SPA usage and is willing to consider CSS as something not destined to be managed through JS.

Ya write one thing in @typescript and then, as if by magic, you’re missing it in simple projects that don’t need it. If only it was easier to get all the tooling to play nice together. The absolute STATE of JS tooling.
