You know what’s insanely hard? Creating pattern libraries not based on visual design, but based off of user experience.
-
@patrickocoffeyo See, this is what I expect from you on Twitter.
-
@mightychabuku Exactly.
-
@mightychabuku Need something opinionated, but with the right opinions, and not endless menus.
-
@mightychabuku Ugh but they all have cruft and legacy bullshit to deal with and endless configuration.
-
I really really really don’t want to create my own project management system but I really really really am hating everything out there.
-
Opera has become my “not messed with” Chrome
-
.@pixelworkers are doing one last run of their 50 States shirts over at @cottonbureau.
-
I just got not one, but two pre-content full-page modal pieces of BS.
-
My new Klipsch speaker system came today. Can’t wait to set it up.
-
Would you look at that? Front end development Vagrant box available, complete with @yeoman generator to set up!
-
Mmm, tasty. @CAH Holliday Bullshit. holidaybullshit.com

Can we talk Content Strategy for a moment? Go to the Bloomingdales website right now. How the FUCK is “100%” the first menu item?

RT @RWD: “You can’t throw things over the wall, you have to really sit side by side—not necessarily literally.” — @clockwerks, http://t.co/…
-
@shayhowe Yup. That I remember.
-
Someone at @SassConf mentioned a scss-lint rule for preventing colors from being used directly in properties, only vars. Help me find?
-
@shayhowe did you say at SassConf that you had a custom sass-lint rule that prevented colors from being used directly?

@maikeldaloo I’d recommend inlining eq.js in the head and deferring the rest of your JS
-
@maikeldaloo Cannot outright remove it, this is JS powered, not native. Speed up your DOMContentLoaded to reduce flash
-
@maikeldaloo With eq.js, I recommend mobile first. You can also set a EQ at 0 so there are no default styles. EMS are tricky.
-
@maikeldaloo I don’t deal in “mobile” and “desktop”, I deal in content. Choose your breakpoints based on your content and you should be GTG
-
@Una I didn’t know you were Mexican
-
@nex3 I understand.
-
@nex3 it’s how PHP does properties of objects. May also be good for import v2 to specify what pieces you want
