  • I’m finally putting together some of my recipes and testing out some I love but don’t cook often. Tonight is roasted butternut squash soup with homemade mushroom broth. It’s amazingly going to be vegan, sans the butter sauteed apple garnish, but that’s optional!

  • @NetlifyCMS @erquhart Is it possible to use the CMS with a site hosted on GitHub Pages w/GitHub auth? I’ve followed all the steps but it only works w/the Netlify deployed site (which isn’t what I want)

  • @dgrammatiko @github That action is built on Node and AFAIK either expects it to build and deploy your code together or for your built code to already be committed. I don’t want to do either; I want to build and test and then, if successful, deploy, and I want them to be separate processes

  • Spent this morning trying to understand @github Actions and get a basic “Build and Deploy to GitHub pages” workflow set up. It was a lot harder than I would have liked, mostly due v1 vs v2 documentation issues and just some doc gaps (like scope of GITHUB_TOKEN). Working now, tho.
