I’m in tears laughing! @biggs_annie is editing something I wrote and her feedback basically is “you know how to spell all the complicated French words and cooking terms, but your English is terrible” Sounds about right

Roasted butternut squash soup with homemade mushroom broth, curried apples, and gruyère cheese bread! Everything but the bread and apples are vegan! instagram.com/p/B2DVv5RprQE/?igshid=1n23izxm2x6xc

I’m finally putting together some of my recipes and testing out some I love but don’t cook often. Tonight is roasted butternut squash soup with homemade mushroom broth. It’s amazingly going to be vegan, sans the butter sauteed apple garnish, but that’s optional!

@erquhart @NetlifyCMS Perf thanks!

@NetlifyCMS @erquhart Is it possible to use the CMS with a site hosted on GitHub Pages w/GitHub auth? I’ve followed all the steps but it only works w/the Netlify deployed site (which isn’t what I want)

@micahgodbolt @github @NetlifyCMS In the preview? Couldn’t you add a custom preview template to do that? netlifycms.org/docs/customization

@dgrammatiko @github That action is built on Node and AFAIK either expects it to build and deploy your code together or for your built code to already be committed. I don’t want to do either; I want to build and test and then, if successful, deploy, and I want them to be separate processes
-
@dgrammatiko @github I saw that and didn’t like that it owned both build and deploy. I wanted those thing seperate
-
@github Related: I now have @NetlifyCMS on my blog

Spent this morning trying to understand @github Actions and get a basic “Build and Deploy to GitHub pages” workflow set up. It was a lot harder than I would have liked, mostly due v1 vs v2 documentation issues and just some doc gaps (like scope of GITHUB_TOKEN). Working now, tho.
