@Dave_Atwater hah ok

RT @PicturesEarth: Solar Eclipse and Milky Way seen from ISS (International Space Station)
-
RT @LukeW: Curved displays, screen mirroring, companion screens, translucent screens. It’s not going to get simpler.
-
@Dave_Atwater haha, how?
-
@ericjduran @rupl Just pushed an update to put the eqjs def in an anon function. If you’re going to update the debounce, be sure to pull dwn
-
@ericjduran @rupl Awesome, care to help out with that?
-
@rupl Awesome!
-
@rupl to give you an idea of perf, their Aspect Ratio demo wilsonpage.github.io/fastdom/examples/aspect-ratio.html runs about 3x slower than eq.js w/same # of nodes
-
@rupl We can’t do this w/no reads as is suggested developers.google.com/chrome-developer-tools/docs/demos/too-much-layout and we’re mostly batching our reads/writes. Again, thoughts?
-
@rupl So I’ve got a branch of eq.js rocking with FASTDOM. Overall, it’s about 10ms faster w/FASTDOM. Not sure that’s worth 8KB. Thoughts?

So happy it’s almost winter sale time. Super fed up with my speaker system and need a new one.

@Seamless Some of your JS (specifically cmCustom.min.js) looks like it didn’t pass JSHint before being minified and therefore errors out
-
@Seamless Some of your JS is breaking because it’s assuming social JS is available. Don’t make that assumption! Always load Social JS async
-
@Seamless, seriously, your sort filters being constantly broken is astoundingly irritating. Test your crap.
-
@robwierzbowski Work. Once I’m finished writing/giving them, I’ll write up a blog post about it
-
.@robwierzbowski I’m using @GoTeamSass’s Jacket extension to teach Progressive Enhancement combined with @Modernizr. It rocks. +@rupl

AirPlay as a 2nd desktop screen is fantastic.

AdBlock #protip: Really hate a section of a website (like a fat footer you never use), tell AdBlock it’s an ad and hide it forever!
-
@codingdesigner I was in 8th Grade, and you’re just an old hipster :P
-
Here’s a crazy association for you: Whenever I hear Sum 41’s “All Killer, No Filler” album, I think about golf. Specifically, SimGolf.
-
@micahgodbolt Just barely. I was in 8th grade the fall of 2001.
-
Having a little 2001 Alt Rock throwback afternoon. It feels fantastic.
-
@iamcarrico my god, you’re never allowed to write slides again. Inline styles and <br> in paragraph tags?!
-
I do not envy web developers targeting Chinese audiences. Windows XP <SP3 essentially means IE6 or GTFO. Limited FF, Opera, Chrome support.
