  • @lewisnyman like @thefubhy said. It doesn’t remove the ltr styles for rtl, just doubles down for rtl.

  • @lewisnyman @thefubhy The “rtl” stuff only happens on page load. No JS powered language/dir change w/the current system. Total anti-pattern

  • @lewisnyman @thefubhy The five lines extra? Yah, I’m cool w/that. Better than the anti-pattern we’ve got. Plus allows for on-fly changes

  • Drupal’s *-rtl.css is a super terrible anti-pattern. We’ve already got dir on our HTML, we should use it! Strip that shit out of Drupal 8.

  • @thefubhy D8! That means we can change that terrible godamn anti-pattern. Let’s change it, not codify it.

  • @thefubhy Actually, we can encourage our users to do it correctly w/dir. Don’t need to live w/BS

  • @thefubhy Not that I know of, but that’s an anti-pattern on Drupal’s part. Should be done w/[dir=“rtl”], esp in Sass w/[dir=“rtl”] & {}

  • Pushed out some improvements to Armadillo (my @yeoman static site generator). Added --new-dir and --git flags. Go check it out!

  • NYC #protip. While tourists don’t have dedicated sidewalks (like they should), native New Yorkers do. They’re labeled “Bus Lane”.

  • @eatings it’s gotten tons of awards, but IMO it’s mediocre BBQ with a good sauce.
