@alanmoo Oh I know I can, I just haven’t had the time yet. Just started at new job
-
@alanmoo Well then I’m happy. Don’t have access to an iOS 6 dev account yet
-
@alanmoo Haha fair enough. If iOS 6 introduces it I’ll be a happy camper.
-
@alanmoo It’s awesome, but it only works on Safari 6 (not iOS), Chrome (desktop only), and IE9+

Can a webdev get some viewport unit love? Especially on mobile? caniuse.com/#feat=viewport-units

Does @BarackObama’s reelection campaign remind anyone else of the “Don’t change horses in mid stream” campaign from Wag the Dog?
-
@Compass_Recipes no problem. I like the book as the “icon” for CR, like the compass w/hat for the word mark
-
@Compass_Recipes I like the compass with the chef hat and flat colors; not a fan of the new font and/or treatment.
-
@Compass_Recipes regardless of opacity, I still prefer that word mark over the new one
-
@Compass_Recipes I liked the light grey word logo better.
-
@jessebeach also, that screen shot of the spark toolbar @Dries tweeted out looks awesome! Can’t wait to play with it!
-
@jessebeach boo! :( Tell @Dries you’ve got important JS things to do in NYC :p
-
@chriseppstein ok. I’ll take a look
-
@jessebeach when’s the next time you’re going to be in NYC/can I convince you to come to talk #rwd and JS at a meetup group at some point?

RT @stoyanstefanov: jQuery taking 2-300ms (3-4 ops/sec in jsperf) just to parse and eval on iphone and android browserscope.org/user/tests/table/agt1YS1wcm9maWxlcnINCxIEVGVzdBi82IESDA?v=3 #fec12

RT @tkadlec: jQuery parse times based on early results of @stoyanstefanov’s test (jsperf.com/zepto-jq-eval):
iOS 5.1: 250ms Android 4.0: 33 …
-
@chriseppstein will look into it. Do you know if Serve works with that? Don’t have a full Rails stack set up yet, so using that.
-
@micahgodbolt I… win?
-
@micahgodbolt the Oscar Meyer Weinermobile
-
@micahgodbolt agreed! I’m in Ruby mode and switching to Node mode isn’t an option for me, too much to do!
-
@micahgodbolt it is very Ruby, and I’m totally Ok with that.
-
@micahgodbolt I have not, I’ll take a look. Really modularized and terse HTML FTW
-
I’ve used Haml for exactly 1 day and I’m already a fan. Combined with Sass, Chibi, and Hammer.js? Rapid mobile prototyping awesomeness.
-
Popcorn powered prototyping. That’s a thing, right?
