  • @patrickkettner Who knows? Emoji reactions (which is what I’ve seen used most as a voting mechanism) can’t be sorted by in the GH Issues UI and can’t be searched on, so I highly doubt it’s that.

  • @patrickkettner That, and if there was a clear way to communicate how votes correlate to priority. If you’re going to say votes are important, that needs to be transparent.

  • @patrickkettner Closing issues, and having uses vote on closed issues to hopefully get them worked on by the community, makes it seem like the maintainers aren’t interested in community feedback and the problems users face aren’t important. It’s a more passive aggressive “PRs Welcome”
